Theoretical and practical Cirrus training
Our training course includes both practical and theoretical elements.
You’ll gain knowledge in aircraft systems, the safety features of the aircraft and operation of the advanced Garmin Perspective avionics.
The flying components include general handling, normal/abnormal circuits, en route procedures, engine management and emergency scenarios.
CAPS® training
All new Cirrus pilots complete our comprehensive Cirrus Airframe Parachute System (CAPS®) Course.
Our experienced instructors will guide you through multiple scenarios where you may need to deploy CAPS® in our state of the art, six-axis-full-motion simulator.
Avia is the only facility in Australia where you can pull the CAPS® handle.
